Agreed,I wish I could control the original ones. Not to mention the fact they can raise weak minions to assist them which would make things even more interesting on the battlefield.

It should still be called a Bone Juggernaut.

Would it have to shout its name every time it enters the room?

actually, that would suck because you would be fighting over corpses with your own minion.

plus, i'll be Anet is waiting for a future chapter to introduce minions who can case spells.

as for the Vampiric horrors, the good thing about them in PvP is that you can hide vampiric horrors amongst the regular looking ones, maybe that's what Anet intended?

May sound silly, but I think a zombified Necro Rez skill wouldn't be half bad.
Yes...what a wonderful way to anger your allies by bringing back their souls as zombies instead of resurrecting them...

1337 Paladin: REZ ME!11!!1!
1337 Paladin: REZ ME!11!!1!
Ignorant Necro: I'm using Animate Zombie on 1337 Paladin!
1337 Paladin: WTF!?!? REZ ME!11!1

That would definitely be amusing, but I doubt it'll happen.

Haha, that would be hilarious! And I'm waiting for mean, antisocial skills like, 'transfer all conditions from yourself to target ally."

animate a player as a zombie: i think that would be visually a great idea, seeing a zombified skin for other players.

When one of your undead minions dies if your quick enough can you raise another from it's disappearing corpse? I think I somehow managed that once. Off topic I know..

Heh...if I could draw a pic in very good detail I would post up a pic of what I would like to see as a new animate whatever skill.

Actually, I think the Flesh Golems are kinda cute. In a necrotic sort of way.

And I understand your point about the name being the same as the ones from Perdition Rock, but who's to say that all monstrosities should look the same? Personally, I found the ones at Perdition Rock lanky and awkward looking and was a bit apprehensive at the spell name originally, although I do like the height.

Well, rangers can already strip off all the enchants on the party. Kewl!

I've had few troubles, even against corpse-exploiting Necro enemies (aside from lag stuff). Just have to watch and time it.

What would be nicer, though, is a minion status bar in the party menu or a mini-menu for us necros, making them easier to select.

I thought golem was a stupid word to use too. Don't forget there's also the abomination model (you can see them in dragon's gullet), which is different than the flesh golems in pertition rock. (main thing is they have heads)

It's also not made only or even mostly of flesh.. it has tons of bone and such on it. The developpers haven't ever followed much fantasy accurately though, so I wouldn't expect them to start here.
It's fantasy anyway; who expects everything to be followed correctly, when you're dealing with imaginary creatures anyway?

You have to realize that this game just isn't about that kind of stuff. Just like when you see unrealistic TV shows or movies, just ignore the fact, and enjoy the movie.
I do care about accuracy, but just realize that only a game llike DDO would likely follow thigns correctly.
